Meet Bella MCCORMICK, LCSW, CADC
OUr Owner & therapist
My STORY
Like most people, I had ideas about what I wanted to be when I grew up – none of which included ‘therapist’ and many of which involved my compassion for animals, creativity and attention to detail. Through life experiences, I came to realize my calling as a therapist: using my compassion, creativity and personal understanding of perfectionism to help others find peace and flourish.
MY philosophy
Life is tough, but we need more than a helmet. Sometimes we don’t know what we need or how to get there… Enter: therapy. Effective therapy is an art that connects, directs and changes us for the better. I believe there is a good reason you think and feel the way you do. Connection, curiosity and creativity will be key while we figure it out together. As we work toward resolving the deeper roots, I will provide practical strategies that will help you feel calmer and better able to manage your day-to-day anxieties.
Pain is a part of being human, but we aren’t intended to tough it out in isolation. Instead, we can allow pain to unite us and strengthen us, as well as find ways to reduce its’ hold on us. In other words, you don’t have to feel this way forever — hope and restoration are possible. I’ve seen hundreds of clients experience positive change and I am excited to witness change in you.
