Meet Courtney Bean
My STORY
I am passionate about mental health advocacy and have always felt drawn to a career that allows me to support others in a meaningful way. I value creating a space where individuals are not only accepted but celebrated for who they are, and I strive to bring that mindset into my work as a therapist. Throughout my life, I have worked to help normalize conversations around mental health and create a space where others feel comfortable reaching out for support. Supporting others in this way has always felt natural to me, and it is what ultimately led me to the field of therapy. I believe that offering clients a compassionate space to explore their experiences, grow, and heal is one of the most meaningful and fulfilling ways I can make a difference.
MY philosophy
My philosophy is centered on meeting clients where they are. I am interested in understanding each person’s unique story, including how their experiences, environment, and relationships have shaped who they are today. Through this process, I aim to support clients in developing a stronger sense of identity. I believe therapy is an empowering opportunity for clients to experience self-discovery, growth and healing. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths and build confidence to feel empowered to make meaningful changes that align with their values and goals for their therapy journey.

STYLE/PERSONALITY
I bring a friendly and approachable presence that helps my clients establish trust, safety and support. When clients enter my therapy room, I aim to make it a comfortable and authentic interaction, serving as a reprieve from the stress of everyday life. I bring a warm, yet goal-oriented approach, helping clients build on their strengths while uncovering new ones along the way.
Outside of work, I value grounding hobbies in my free time such as spending time outside, going on walks, practicing yoga, and exploring places around the city like new coffee spots and farmers markets, often alongside family or friends.
