Meet Lauren Roe,

Lauren Roe

My STORY

My path to becoming a therapist has been guided by a deep curiosity about people’s stories, a love of psychology, and background in medical social work. Along my journey, I discovered how powerful it can be to have someone truly listen and sit with you through the challenges and triumphs of life. I am drawn to supporting people whose struggles feel unseen—whether living with chronic illness, invisible disabilities, or the extra effort it takes to manage your physical and mental health needs.

I believe in caring for the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and relationships—and I see therapy as a space where each of these parts of life can be integrated for optimal healing and growth. I welcome all parts of you — and will support you in integrating your values as a source of strength and meaning. My style is gentle and compassionate, offering steady support without pressure, so that you can move at your own pace as we work toward greater strength, peace, and connection.

My Philosophy

I believe the challenges you’re facing—feeling overwhelmed, stuck in self-doubt, or being hard on yourself—don’t come out of nowhere. They’re often shaped by your relationships, culture, past experiences, and the pressures of daily life. In our work together, we’ll explore how these pieces connect—whether it’s attachment patterns, burnout, or the pressure to constantly measure up. From there, we’ll focus on practical tools that feel realistic and supportive, like setting boundaries without guilt, calming your nervous system when anxiety arises, and shifting the inner voice that tells you you’re not enough. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, balanced, and confident, so you can navigate life with greater ease and well-being in mind and body.
