Meet Eleanor Klouman
My STORY
My journey to a career in counseling was long in the making, driven by a strong sense of empathy, compassion, and curiosity. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a natural affinity for understanding and caring for others. Having experienced the benefits of counseling firsthand and having seen its positive impact on my own loved ones, I know just how transformative this work can be. Looking back, this path has always been a part of who I am, and I find immense joy and motivation in being that support for others.
MY philosophy
I am deeply passionate about mental health awareness because I believe no one should have to navigate life alone. I have a holistic view of personal wellbeing and believe that therapy is truly for anyone! No struggle is too big or too small, and no one is “too damaged” or “not damaged enough” to deserve support.
Humans are complex, feelings are complex, and life is complex. As counselors, we have the privilege of being a listening ear, a sounding board, a cheerleader, and a guide through life’s challenges. My goal is to spend each day creating a space where people feel safe enough to heal, grow, and simply be heard. I believe that seeking help is often the first step toward progress and meaningful change, and I look forward to walking alongside you through every step of the way.

STYLE/PERSONALITY
I am often described as warm, genuine, and naturally personable. I love connecting with people and try to bring a little kindness to everyone I cross paths with, whether it is family, colleagues, or the cashier at my local Trader Joe’s. I carry that same energy into my counseling practice with a thoughtful, collaborative, and approachable style.
Whether you are a seasoned client or completely new to therapy, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I work alongside clients to better understand their experiences, navigate challenges, and build a life that feels more balanced, peaceful, and fulfilling.
Outside of work, you can usually find me:
- Relaxing by the lakefront and taking a dip as often as the weather permits
- Enjoying a yoga class
- Reading (I’m a Kindle girl)
- Patiently waiting for the right chapter of life to adopt a dog or cat 🙂
