Therapy Resident (Masters-Level Intern)

Lily Counseling is a Chicago-based practice dedicated to helping women integrate high performance with whole-person wellness. Our internship program offers graduate students an exceptional opportunity to gain experience in a private practice setting that values excellence, compassion, and professional development. Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing therapy to clients (under supervision)
- Participate in weekly individual supervision and team clinical consultation meetings.
- Complete clinical documentation and maintain accurate client records in our EHR system.
- Engage in ongoing training focused on documentation, clinical reasoning, and professional development.
- Receive guidance and instruction in evidence-based modalities and interventions, such as ACT, DBT, and Parts Work (IFS-informed approaches).
Qualifications
- Enrollment in an MSW, Clinical Mental Health or Counseling Master’s program (2nd-year or practicum/internship phase)
- Prior experience in mental health preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and engage in reflective practice
