Functional Medicine Provider
About the Role
Lily Counseling is expanding into integrative and functional medicine and is seeking a licensed medical professional to help establish this new line of service. We welcome applicants who are passionate about helping clients achieve optimal wellness and who thrive in a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health evaluations through a functional medicine lens
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing health and lifestyle matters including, but not limited to: nutrition, hormones, sleep, stress, and gut health
- Recommend and order appropriate lab testing (e.g., blood panels, DUTCH, OAT, and related assessments)
- Provide education and guidance to clients on completing labs and implementing treatment protocols in a collaborative, supportive manner
- Partner with therapists and psychiatric providers to deliver integrated, whole-person care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and ensure coordinated communication across the care team
Qualifications (required)
- Active medical license in Illinois (MD, DO, APRN, or PA)
- Prior experience in functional medicine
- Strong understanding of the connection between physical, emotional, and mental health
- Interest in working with clients managing anxiety, ADHD, depression, and disordered eating

- Comfort working autonomously with a supportive, interdisciplinary team
Compensation & Structure
- Flexible W-2 or 1099 arrangement (see careers page for W-2 benefit details)
